MydadisBucky

I have been staying home the past few weeks (no Thailand for me) to watch over my Dad as he had his knee replaced earlier this week.  Longtime family friend Dr. Michael Cooney did the knee replacement, and while Dad is in a lot of pain, he is doing well!

Dad was a great athlete in college, and played basketball for Notre Dame.  While he was in South Bend, he had 3 knee surgeries, none of which got him back to 100%.  We are all hopeful that the new knee will get Dad back to his jumpshot, and that he will be bouncing off the walls before long!

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes posted on my and Mom’s Facebook pages!

I really enjoy your book. I practice your tips often. I was at the Safeway in Oregon last year. It was my first Pro-Am, talk about fun(I live in Oregon and Florida) for the life of me…I can not understand why there is not an LPGA event in Florida…I hate this schedule they have for you. Hope your dad gets better soon.

Michelle—Do you know how many tournaments you’ll play this year? Wegmans is my favorite and close. It looks like they will host the LPGA Championship. Hoping we can follow you and your wonderful hats this June. Hope everyone heals just right!

Hello Hat Lady. Back about the mid-90’s – I was helping promote a new golf club -and was up at Twin Bridges and we chatted a few times. I thought your dad played football at Notre Dame – but was it basketbaLL?
I said hi to you yesterday after your 16th or so hole – and mentioned your dad and Notre Dame. I was in the Orange hat for what it’s worth.

Glad you are engaged. Last time – I think you were dating a guy who played for the Tamba Bay Bucs – way back then.

Keep the georgeous smile and positive outlook on life.

ps. My wife loves your hats.
