The big day is just a short while away! Yes, my wedding, but also, my first gig at The Golf Channel in 2010! I am heading out tomorrow to the Sybase Match Play Championship in Gladstone, NJ. I will be working in the booth with Brian Hammons, and am really looking forward to it! Look for me on worldwide TV on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!! Broadcast journalism is certainly new to me (even though I have done thousands of interviews), but golf has been such an old reliable part of my life, I am feeling very good about the upcoming experience and the new challenges it presents!!
As some of you know, the Golf Channel and I have been dating for a while. I participated in a number of events in late 2009 to learn the business, and am now execited to get started and try it out for real! I spent last Thursday at the Golf Channel Studios in Orlando, FL getting prepped and ready!
My next few days are a whirlwind. Dentist, hair, nails, packing for 6 weeks etc. Plus, I have been working with world famous dermatologist Dr. Layne Nisenbaum on my skin and repairing some skin damage. You know, today’s high-def cameras show every pore, wrinkle and spot. I thought I needed a little tune-up!
The Palm Beach Daily News is doing a big spread in tomorrow’s edition. I will post a link here when it hits the wires!
