My dear friend, and fellow LPGA Tour player Erica Blasberg died yesterday, as announced today by the LPGA. Erica, 25, has been on the LPGA for a number of years after a terrific career at the University of Arizona. She had terrific charm and charisma, and certainly made me “dress my best” when out on the course. She was always smiling, and always had a kind word for me, Jonathan, JC and my parents.

Our thoughts and love are with the Blasberg Family.

I just read the story on the Fox website. How sad…I thought of you right away as she seemed like she’d be a friend of yours on the golf course. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and to the Blasberg Family. Another angel on your shoulder!

I was a hole marshall for the LPGA Tour Championship last fall here in Houston. I saw so many good golfers that were also beautiful women, Erica being one. There are not enough of you and to lose one is really sad.
