New Sights!Posted: March 30th, 2010

New sights

I returned home from Southern California early Sunday, and because I had never been before, headed out to the Palm Beach International Boat Show along Flagler Drive in Downtown West Palm Beach.  For the past 20 years, my travel schedule has been fairly hectic (in some years I was on the road over 260 days) so I have never had the occassion to visit the Boat Show, or even SunFest.  Jonathan dragged me out, so we joined about 20,000 other would-be boaters and took in the sights!

Living on the water, I love boats, and this show had no shortage.  Big ones, small ones, fancy ones and plain ones, there were boats for all types.  And all types there were at the show.  While I enjoyed looking at the boats, the people watching was even better!  And to top it off, I had a great lunch of conch fritters from Sisters in the Pot Catering!

I was tired at the end of Sunday, but it was worth it!  I am hope for a couple weeks, and will eagerly be awaiting next weeks Masters event.   Who do you think will win it?   If you give me your prediction prior to the first round, and your selected player wins it, I will send you a hat and t-shirt!!  Post your entry quickly….only one entry per player! First come, first serve!!

XO

Hey Michelle…Have to go with Tiger, even though he has been out of competition for months, he has something to prove.

Enjoy relaxing the next few days.

Hi Michelle, My pick to win the masters is 50 yr old Fred Couples. I think he is playing better than ever and if he keeps his back pain free I like him to win.

I gotta go w/ Ernie Els. He is in the zone. Every part of his game is clicking at the same time!

How can one go against Tiger (he’s the best) – he will have a monkey on his back. My late husband would pick Freddie Couples. But, I will pick Earnie Els (what a smooth swing!)

I’m going to go against most of the world and say that Tiger’s NOT going to do it. My pick is Steve Stricker because I feel he’s due for one and he’s been close in so many majors before so this time I think he can get it done.

While the odds on favorite will probably be Tiger, I’ll say Anthony Kim.

I thought I had posted this the other day but it’s not showing so I’ll do it again.
While Tiger will be the odds on favorite I’ll go with Anthony Kim.

I was hoping that my friend (see prior post Fearsome Trio) Phil would win, and he did! Maybe I should send him the Michelle McGann hat and shirt! Congrats Phil!
