Hyannis

It was a wonderful week in Nantucket, and I had the opportunity to see and experience so much.  One day we made a quick trip to Hyannis, and had an opportunity to visit the JFK Museum.  This was shortly after the passing of Sen. Kennedy, so it was a very special moment for me to pay respects to a family who has given so much to our country.

Chairs

Nantucket is a beach town and so much more, and I easily blended in.  I loved everything about it, including these chairs.  If they were for sale, I would have bought them!  Don’t they look great??

AJ

On the ferry one day, I had the opportunity to meet AJ.  I happened to notice AJ getting an insulin shot, so I just had to stop and chat.  It was great meeting AJ and his mom Kristin.  We chatted a bit about my challenges with diabetes, and the great things that can make life easier (Thanks Dr. Barry Sears!).  We hooked up with AJ again during the trip, and I hope he had a great visit too!

Howard Clark

Our hosts for the week were Howard and Karen Clark.  The Clark’s home is beautiful and in the middle of everything! Thank you Howard and Karen for your hospitality!

Howard – I formally accept your offer for next years visit!  I may even bring some friends with me!

I hope everyone is doing great!

XO

MM

Hi Michelle,
We have been looking for you to cheer you on at the Long’s/Blackhawk Tournament. You met my daughter Morgan Mahre last year (MM). You both were wearing your insulin pumps! We hope to find you.
Good luck,

Hi Kelly

Sorry I didn’t make it this year…a foot injury has kept me out of golf for a few months! My love to Morgan.

Learning to play golf at age 65 is FUN..
But I have reached a plateau after about 12 hours of lessons, daily practice. Still can’t get distance.
How does one find a great woman coach instructor in the Seattle Area?
