I arrived in Nantucket on Saturday along with my great friend Marci Meyerwich. We are staying at the wonderful home of Howard and Karen Clark, and friendly pup Oliver. The Clark’s home is just a short walk from Downtown Nantucket and the Beaches, so Marci and I have spent alot of time exploring! Not a bad view huh?

My Aunt Sharon loves Lighthouses, and there certainly are a few here…we are trying to visit them all. Lighthouses have a very calming effect….

On Monday night, we went to the local pub and cheered on the Patriots and my friend Bill Belichick. What an unbelieveable game! There is nothing like cheering on a New England Team in New England!

We are having a wonderful time, and are headed back Saturday. Many thanks to Howard, Karen, and Oliver for hosting us this week!

Finally, congratulations to Jiyai Shin for her win at the P&G NW Arkansas Championship this week. She has had quite the rookie season!

I don’t know the Michelle story very well for the last 10 years or so. The “illnesses” and such that have interfered with the ability to play the game as much and/or play it as well….is all this complications from the diabetes or was there a golf injury that caused the slowing of your results and amount of play. Thanks…

Thank you, again, for your kindness to my son AJ on the ferry to Nantucket. I am so glad you decided to come over to us and share your story about diabetes. Since AJ was diagnosed 2 months ago, we have met many wonderful supportive people. I know we could do it alone if we had do, but thank God, we don’t. It will be much easier with love and support from family, and strangers like you, that decide to come in to our lives!! You are awesome!! AJ’s school nurse was excited to hear about us meeting you. She has watched you on TV and she loves your bows on your wide brim hat
