I arrived in Boston yesterday, and after a delicious lunch on Newbury Street, I headed up Route 1 and I-95 to Southern Maine, landing in Ogunquit where I am spending 10 days resting and relaxing. First thing this morning we made a beeline to the beach, where I stopped in my tracks after seeing the water tempature!!
This afternoon, I played in a kid’s 6 hole practice round at Cape Neddick Country Club. The club moved the tees up on the first 6 holes of the course late in the afternoon, leaving each youngster with an experience like an executive par 3 course…it was alot of fun. I haven’t picked up a golf club in almost 3 weeks, and was pleasantly surprised to hit the ball really well!
Tonight is one of many planned lobster nights. Who can’t go to Maine and have as many as they can?
