Hot and Cold!Posted: May 28th, 2009

As you might know, I withdrew from the Corning Classic last week due to a problem with my right foot. I have suffered plantar fasciatis for years, and now have encountered a related injury, a bone spur in my heel. I have been getting some treatment over the past couple days, including keeping my foot in a bucket of ice water (yes thats my foot above). It looks comfortable, but this water is sooooo cold.

I returned home to Florida, and it has been very hot. Summer arrived early this year!

After discussions with my Dr. and physical therapists, I am going to be ready for next week’s State Farm Tournament in Springfield, IL. I am catching up on a few things, and plan on leaving this weekend.

Hi Michelle, you have been in our thoughts. Hope your foot is feeling better! We’re enjoying the mild temps here in Montana, haven’t played golf, too busy playing with the grands. Who are teens now and speak about girl/boy friends and cars. Play well we are rooting for our favorite girl.
