Today I played in my friend Val Skinner’s 2009 Life Event here in New Jersey. While the weather was a bit chilly, everyone’s hearts were warm for the cause!

I played a fun round with a great group of ladies, then we mingled in the clubhouse. Joining us for the day were Jack Ford, and Gabrielle Union, both great supporters of the Komen Foundation and Breast Cancer Research! See Jack and Gabrielle below:

I left just before NY rush hour (Oh well…) and just arrived in Corning, NY where I am staying the week with my friends, the Olmsteads! Thank goodness John Olmstead is a physician…my plantar fasciitis is really acting up and my foot is really bothering me.

Tomorrow I plan to take it easy and rest my foot a bit. I have a JDRF clinic in the afternoon (just like Phoenix and Upper Montclair) and am looking forward to meeting lots of new friends!

What a lovely web site – I particularly enjoyed the photos – some real blasts from the past there.

I understand that Michelle Simpson has installed a Shaft Skinz sleeve on your putter. As the inventor of Shaft SKinz I am delighted that the girls out on tour are taking to my product with such enthusiasm.

I’m sure Michelle will look after you and your needs in regard to adding that little extra colour (excuse the [correct] spelling – I’m from Northern Ireland!)to your game but if I can ever be of any assistance I’d welcome hearing from you.
